Q: What is the application process for joining your puppy waitlist?
A: Simply fill out our online application form. If approved, you'll receive an email within a week. We'll then schedule a Zoom/Facetime call to meet, discuss details, and answer questions. After the final approval process, you'll hear back within a week, confirming your full approval onto our waiting list.
Q: What is the deposit requirement to secure a spot on the waitlist or reserve a puppy?
A: A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 CAD is required. You can defer twice for any reason, and the deposit will be transferred to another litter. Upon submitting the deposit and signing our standard puppy contract, you'll be added to the list.
Q: Do we get to choose the puppy we want?
A: Upon submitting your deposit, specify your preference for a female or male. We'll guide you through the selection process, sharing insights into each puppy's personality. While we offer assistance, the final decision on your furry companion is entirely yours to make.
Q: How do you manage the waiting list process for getting a puppy?
A: We operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. We maintain two waiting lists, one for our female puppies and another for our male puppies. During the application process, you can specify your preference for the puppy's sex, and we will place you on the corresponding wait list.
Q: How are your puppies raised?
A: Our puppies are raised in-house with us, our children, and our other dogs. Initially, we separate our dam and the puppies from the other dogs until the puppies are older.
Q: Do you offer any ongoing support as a breeder?
A: Yes, absolutely. We genuinely care about each puppy we produce. We have completed dog training courses, allowing us to provide free support to our families throughout the entire life of the puppy. We want our families to enjoy their new family member with the peace of mind that help is just an email, text, or phone call away!
Q: What happens if I can no longer take care of the puppy?
A: In our puppy contract, we have stipulated first rights of refusal for the puppy. If, for any reason, you are unable to keep the puppy, we have the option to take them back. Rest assured, none of our dogs will ever see the inside of a shelter!
Q: What kind of support do you offer post-adoption to new puppy owners?
A: We understand the adjustment period for both you and your new family member. Upon adoption, we provide information and guidance tailored to your needs in the initial weeks to ensure a smooth transition for everyone.
Q: Do you offer breeding rights or co-ownership arrangements?
A: Currently, we do not offer breeding rights. As a small hobbyist breeding program, our primary focus is on providing top-quality family pets. Ensuring 100% satisfaction and continuous support for our clients is paramount. While co-owning rights may be considered in the future, they are not available at the moment.
